Artist’s statement

Art, for me, is one of those few things that make life worth living. Through art, I, as an artist, can convey and elevate human values. Being an artist is both a great honor and a significant responsibility. In order to develop my art, I must first develop as a human being because you are always present between the brush strokes, whether you want it or not. My art represents how I live and perceive life on my journey, where I continually strive to challenge myself and see how far I can go in professional growth and success and internal development. I hope that my works will help the viewer experience this journey and, perhaps, enrich themselves.

Leonid’s artworks are appreciated internationally and held in private collections all around the world (USA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Russia, Singapore, Australia).

Leonid is a member of Artists Trade Union of Russia, and was also included into the United Register of the Professional Artists of the Russian Empire, the USSR, Russian emigration, Russian Federation and the republics of former Soviet Union (XVIII–XXI centuries).
